Harriette Louise Adams, 82 of Inkom, ID passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at home. A graveside service with Military Honors will be held at 10am on Wednesday, December 28th, at the Idaho State Veteran’s Cemetery, 10100 N. Horseshoe Bend Rd., Boise, ID 83714.
Louise was born in American Fork, Utah on June 4, 1940 to Emil and Roma McCandless. She was joined a year later by her sister Judy. Her mother later married Deloyd Cazier in 1945, who than had two more children, Deloyd Jr. and Eliza Dianne, before the family settled in Boise, Idaho.
Louise attended Boise High School and graduated in 1958. She was a member of the W.A.V.E.S. for the U.S. Navy from 1958 to 1960. She served as a nurse. She really enjoyed all of her adventures in the Navy.
Louise met and married Don Molton during her time in the Navy. They had two children together, Scott and Sissy. She later met the love of her life, William “Tom” Adams through a good friend. They were married on December 27, 1971 in Boise, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple. Louise and Tom had one son together, Thomas Adams.
She worked for many different places, but she loved the work she did at the Children’s Home on Warm Springs Ave. in Boise, Idaho. She received many letters from the children she helped. Her and Tom moved to Inkom in 1993 were she worked as a secretary for the hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents Emil McCandless and Roma and Deloyd Cazier; her sister and brother-in-law Judy and James Burdick; and most recently her husband William Thomas Adams, the love of her life.
She leaves behind her children Scott Adams of Keizer, Oregon, Sissy Molton of Horseshoe Bend, Idaho, and Thomas (Tommy) Adams of Boise, Idaho; her siblings Deloyd Cazier, Jr. and Dianne Fagan; her many loved and adored grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She loved her family and friends with her whole heart. She will always be loved and known for her happy and upbeat attitude. She was a true friend to many and loved by all those who knew her. She will be missed greatly.
