Our beloved mother and grandmother passed from this mortal life Sunday, May 6, 2012, in Pocatello, Idaho. She was born January 22, 1916, in Morgan, UT to Joseph Cottrell and Harriet Eliza/Clawson Cottrell. Harriet came to Idaho at age 3 to the Marsh Center area where the family dry farmed. She attended school in a one room school house. She married Don Wilson in Pocatello. They were later divorced. Together they had 3 children: Chuck, Corlene, Maleita, and adopted a daughter Kathy that she raised as her own. She later married J.D. Wallace "Wally". She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Harriet loved to go to thrift stores, yard sales, quilting, yard work, fishing, camping, and was an avid collector of dolls. She is preceded in death by her husband, J.D. "Wally" Wallace. She is survived by her children: Chuck (Ronny) Wilson of Riverton, WY; Corlene (Gary) Richardson of Pocatello; Maleita (Herb) Baker of Pocatello; Kathy (Ray) Schumer of Woodbridge, VA; step-children Buddy Wallace, Johnny Wallace, Mike (Mary) Wallace; and her many grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4 th Ave, as well as one hour prior to the funeral service. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2012, also at Colonial Funeral Home. Interment will follow services at Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
