Harold "Smitty" Smith

April 2, 1952 — February 9, 2021

Harold Ricky Smith "Smitty", 68, passed away on February 9, 2021. He was born in Borger, Texas to Minnie and H.R. Smith on April 02, 1952. "Smitty" is preceded in death by his parents, Minnie, and H.R.; his wife, Sandra Smith; and a son-in-law, Stephen Verbeck. He sadly leaves behind his son, Harold Aaron Smith; and stepdaughters, Kailee and Valorie Brower. He was a loving father and husband. "Smitty" was passionate about music and his family. He is a local legend in Idaho for his contributions in the band, Country Drive, as well as Battery Park, The Daulton Gang and Storm Crowe. His family and music were his pride and joy. "Smitty" was a very accomplished musician and had many plans for his future. He worked hard and loved even harder. He will be greatly missed. May his soul be at rest and he play that big gig in the afterlife. I believe he would want all of us to live our lives full of passion and make this world a better place. Ride high professor "Smitty" and rock on. The family will hold a viewing on Friday, February 19, 2021 from 5-7 pm at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4th Ave. Please wear a mask and follow social distancing.
