Gwenlyn Chudej

Gwenlyn Lee Chudej, 78, passed away at her home in McCammon on Thursday, November 2, 2017. She was born on October 4, 1939 in McCaulley, TX and later moved to Farmington, NM. Gwen graduated in May 1958 from Antelope Valley High School also graduating from Alaska Business College in November 1982; with honors. On July 19, 1978, she married Jerry W. Chudej. Gwen worked in various positions over the years including Accounting Clerk, Accounts Payable Clerk, Secretary/Receptionist, Customer Service Representative, Computer Operator, Office Clerk and lastly as a Legal Secretary. She belonged to the Lava Community Church. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, baking, aerobics, music, hunting and fishing. She also loved to travel. Gwen is survived by her husband, Jerry W. Chudej, McCammon, ID; son, John Patric Ammon, Inkom, ID; daughter, Michelle Lee Wilson, Twin Falls, ID; son, Darryl C. Ammon, Salisbury, MO; daughter, Linda M Kammerzell, Ft. Collins, CO; son, Richard S. Chudej, Kennewick, WA; brother, Douglas C. Peterson, San Antonio, TX; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Cline C. Peterson; mother, Geraldine Peterson; brother, Johnny D. Peterson; and grandson, Kory J. Ammon A viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 from 6-8 pm at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4 th Ave. Pocatello, ID. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 11 am also at Colonial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Inkom Cemetery.
