Gregory C. Tolman

Gregory Charl Tolman, 49, passed away on Tuesday December 8th 2020 due to complications arising from COVID 19.

He was born on November 24th 1971 in Pocatello, Idaho to Charl Tolman and Karen Brokens and was raised by Blayne and Karen Brokens until he Graduated from Highland High School in 1990.

Greg served a full time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Philadelphia, PA. from 1992 to 1994.

Greg married Karen Jansen in June of 1994 and together they had two children; Stetson S. Tolman and Brooke A. Tolman. Greg and Karen later divorced.

Greg graduated from Idaho State University with an AAS degree in communications.

Greg excelled in martial arts and achieved a 5th degree black belt (Master level) in TAE KWON DO. He shared his passion for the art by teaching TAE KWON DO at Idaho State University for many years.

Greg was employed by the American Falls School District as the Director of Information Technology.

Greg loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them at the cabin in Island Park. He loved the outdoors, hunting and shooting guns. He also shared in his family's love of cars.

Greg is survived by His children; Stetson Tolman and Brooke Tolman, His parents; Charl Tolman, Blayne Brokens, Karen Brokens, His Grandmother Clara Harris, His siblings; Michael Tolman, Steven Tolman, Marjean Richey, Chad Brokens, Daniel Brokens, and Kevin Tolman.

Greg was preceded in death by his Grandparents; Charles Tolman, Harriet Tolman, Paul Harris and his sister Genevieve Tolman.

A private funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 14, 2020. A webcast of the service will be available under Greg's tribute page at www.wilksfuneralhome.com. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
