Grant Burke

Grant Burke, 77, passed away Saturday, August 2, 2008 at a local medical center. He was born at home in Grace, Idaho on February 12, 1931 to Denzil and Annie Melva Hansen Burke. He was raised and educated in Grace and graduated from Grace High School. Grant served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Australia. There he learned many new customs and he learned to live and eat as they did. After returning from his mission he attended Grimms Business College. In July 1955 he went to work for Paul Roberts, working his way up the latter and into the accounting department, retiring in 1996 after 41 years of service. Grant married Donna Cole from Arimo, Idaho on February 10, 1956 in the Idaho Falls Temple. They were blessed with four children, AlmaLyn, Blair, Heather, and Lon. Grant and Donna were also foster parents to nine children in the early 1970
