Gracie Violet Skinner, 77, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2020. She was born on September 8, 1942 in Goldendale, WA; to Danil and Thelma Robinson. In 1968 Gracie married Marlow Skinner in Pocatello, Idaho while he was teaching at Idaho State University. Soon after their marriage they moved to Anchorage, Alaska. Before moving to Alaska in 1968, Gracie traveled all over the world for entrepreneurial adventures with Marlow. In the fall of 1968, Gracie became a legal secretary and continued to do so until 2005, when she moved to Salmon, Idaho with Marlow. While living in Salmon, Gracie cared for her husband until his passing in 2014. Gracie moved to Pocatello in 2015. She spent the remainder of her time with her sisters, Bonnie and Karen. Gracie was a marvelous gardener. She loved the flowers. Gracie had a heart of gold and was a joy to all of us. She is survived by her grandson, Justin (Becca) Skinner; grandchildren, Jameson, Hazel, and Ruby, Ryan Skinner and his children, Wyatt and Greyson. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 1 pm at the Salmon Cemetery, 45 Cemetery Ln. Salmon, ID 83467.
