Gordon Keith Crump January 23, 1930 - December 25, 2013 Gordon Keith Crump, 83, Downey Idaho, passed away December 25, 2013 at his home of natural causes. Keith was born January 23, 1930 in McCammon, Idaho to Etta Loreata Boren and Joseph Hyrum Crump. He love to hunt and fish and knew many of the great local fishing holes in the area. He successfully built and launched several fishing boats that he used for many years. He enjoyed gardening and grew a variety of fruits and vegetables. He liked to bird watch and had a favorite parrot named Herman which sat on his shoulder regularly and would eat from his fingers. After living for some time in McCammon, he later moved to Pocatello holding various jobs such as salesman, carpenter and finally retiring from the Union Pacific Railroad as a crew dispatcher. He had six children with Arleen Grover, five boys and one girl. Arleen and Keith were later divorced and he then married his current wife Merly Aguilar. He was pre-deceased by his mother Etta Loreata, father Joseph Hyrum, brother Joseph Dale, sister Etta Fay, and sister Rose Mary. He is survived by his sons Michael Crump of Arizona, Craig (RaeNae) Crump of Texas, Scott (Marcia) Crump of Utah, Tracy Crump of Utah, Todd (Margo) Crump of Pocatello and daughter Sandra (Gregg) Kerr of Nevada, as well as numerous grand children, great-grand children, nieces, nephews and Winston, his favorite grand dog. A short memorial service will be held on Monday, December 30, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. at the Colonial Funeral Home. Interment will follow the services at the Mountain View Cemetery, Pocatello. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4 th Ave., Pocatello, 233-1500.
