Glenn W. Davis, 65, passed away March 16, 2018 from cancer. He was born October 31, 1952 in Glendale, California to Vaun C. Davis and Lois Ward Davis. His family moved to Riverdale, Utah when he was 11. Glenn served in the Arizona LDS Mission from 1971-1973. He met Jane Howard and they married in the Ogden Temple in 1975. Glenn earned his BS in chemistry at Weber State and then his Masters at BYU in chemical engineering. He was employed in the semi-conductor field at several plants during his career. He secured a position in Pocatello in 1994 and worked for ON until his retirement in September. He held various church callings including Scouts, Elders Quorum and teaching positions. He was ordained a Seventy when he was 28 and served as the Missionary Group Leader in several different wards. Glenn kept reinventing himself embracing new hobbies with passion. He wrote a 400 page science fiction novel, performed in a rock band, became a cyclist, and took up bow hunting. After retiring he spent 2 to 6 hours a day on the tennis court. He and Jane had five children; Jared (deceased), Catherine Davis, David Vaun Davis, Janel Davis and Stephen Davis. He is survived by his mother; his sister, Shirley Peterson; his brother, Wayne Davis; daughter-in-law, Heather Ward Casper and her husband, Matt Casper; son-in-law, Jeremy Farrell; and 8 grandchildren. Glenn will be cremated and memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 11 am at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4 th Ave. Pocatello, ID. Inurnment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery, 1520 S. 5 th Ave. Pocatello, ID.
