Glenn Aldous

Glenn Ray Aldous, 53, passed away May 19, 2001 in Mesa, Arizona due to complications of a rare lung disease. Glenn's father was stationed in England in the military. Glenn was born December 13, 1558 son of Jack and Pauline Aldous in Allsbury, England, oldest of two children, The family moved from England to the Fort Hall area when Glenn was a toddler. He attended area schools and demonstrated at an early age his abilities as a young entrepreneur. At age 19 he opened the Tyhee Tradesman and went on from there developing many other businesses. He was an inventor and had and active creative mind, having many of his ideas and inventions patented. Some of these were sold for profit. He married Maxine "Mackie" Mansfield on October 29, 1976 in Tyhee, Idaho. Together they had three children Wesley, Jesse, and Mistey. They were later divorced. He then married MistySant and they had a son who was named Tuff. In all he helped raise four children. Glenn had a very optimistic attitude, enjoyed people, and had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed a couple of beers and a joke and the company of his many good friends. He was talented in photography, enjoyed boating, fishing, traveling, and especially being a father and grandfather. Being evolved in his children and grandchildren's lives was his greatest accomplishment. He is survived by his sweetheart, Misty Sant Aldous, and their son Tuff, Florence, Arizona, and three children and spouses, Wesley (Megan) Aldous, Nampa, Idaho, Jesse (Hailey) Aldous, Blackfoot, Idaho, and Mistey (Nate Kinghorn) Aldous, Pocatello, his father, Jack Aldous, a sister Teresa Kenny, Pocatello, and two grandchildren, Mason and Tanner. Glenn was preceded in death by his mother Pauline. Memorial services will be held to honor Glenn at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 18, 2011 at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4th Ave., Pocatello.
