Glenn Adolph Marler, 87, went home to his heavenly father on October 23, 2013. He was born June 2, 1926 to Lionel Adolph Marler and Ethel Lish. He graduated from Pocatello High School in 1945. He married Betty Bob Willis on July 31 1954. They had 4 children, Ronald, Glennda, Jan and Wendy. She passed away in 1999. He retired from the United States Post Office after 22 years. He married Joyce Rowbury on May 10, 2004. He is the former Executive Vice President for NARFE (National Association of Federal Employees) of the San Gabriel Valley. He was also the president of the Local NARFE in Pocatello, Idaho. He loved to go fishing and he loved baseball and coaching his grandson Salvador's baseball team. He played for a semi-pro baseball team in California. Glenn loved his family and loved to talk about them. He loved to sing and make his grandkids laugh. He is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Johnny Creek Ward. We will love you forever and miss you just as much. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Marler, his daughters, Glennda Marler-Crocker, Jan (Steve) Nickels, Wendy (Bob) Hottel-Odom, step-children, Craig (Kathy) Rowbury, Paul (Peggy) Rowbury, Wendy (John) Rogers, Beth Whittaker, grandchildren, Michael Marler, Heather Howarter, Salvador (Krystal) Gurrola, Stephenie (Josh) Cerda, Daniell (Mike)Jenson, Rachel Darner, Brandon Hottel and 11 great grandchildren and one more on the way, and numerous step grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters and 2 brothers, his son in law Stephen Hottel, his wife Betty Bob Marler, and his son Ronald Marler. Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Colonial Funeral home, 2005 S. 4 th Ave. Pocatello. A viewing will be held from 5-7 PM Friday, October 25, 2013 and one hour prior to the services at Colonial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery, Rigby, Idaho.
