Glenis Ray Spradlin

June 15, 1989 — July 24, 2017

Glen passed away peacefully July 24, 2017 at the University of Utah Hospital.

Glen was born June 15, 1989 in Pocatello to Kimberly Spradlin. He grew up in Pocatello and attended New Horizon High School.

Glen loved being outdoors. He enjoyed spending his time hunting, fishing, camping, 4-wheeling, riding dirt bikes, shooting guns, playing Xbox and snowmobiling. He loved following his brothers around; Travis was his best friend and brother. He loved hunting and was so proud of his huge buck he shot with Travis. He also loved watching the Kansas City Chiefs play football. He was always pushing boundaries, figuring out how far he could go before getting in trouble. He was so care-free.

Glen's life and that of his family was suddenly and forever changed in October 2011 when his long journey with congestive heart failure began. His battle was long, yet his time with his family and all those that knew him was left short. He will be dearly missed!

As his family, we wish to express our heart-felt gratitude to the University of Utah Hospital staff for being so wonderful, Wilks Funeral Home, and the Idaho Heart Institute for their kindnesses extended.

Glen is survived by his mom, Kim (Jason) Sollars, Pocatello; dad, Craig Burrows, Pocatello; sister, Leandra (Shawn) Duffin, American Falls; brothers, Travis (Krystal) Burrows, Pocatello; Jake Burrows, Pocatello; Ty Burrows, Washington; grandpa, Glen Spradlin, Sr, Pocatello; uncle, Glen Spradlin, Jr., Pocatello; aunt, Gina (Kai) Dixon, Pocatello; nine nieces, five nephews, and numerous cousins.

Glen was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Jerrilyn Spradlin and Vivian Spradlin; and his uncle, Mike Burrows.

A memorial gathering to celebrate his life will be held on the evening of Friday, August 4, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Alameda Park, Wayne Avenue and Park Street. His funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W. Chubbuck Road.

Memories and condolences may be shared in the "Tribute Wall" tab above.
