GinaMarie K. Jilot passed on peacefully at her home on Sunday, January 11, 2015. She fought a courageous battle with cancer and was surrounded by family at her passing.
GinaMarie spent her early years in Pocatello. She graduated from high school in Denver, CO. She returned to Idaho, living in Boise for a short time, and then came back to Pocatello, where she worked with her father at Hill Clinical Laboratory. Later, she owned her own business, the Rum Runner Lounge. After that she worked at the IT Department at ISU. The last few years she's had a successful online business selling Japanese kimono silk fabrics.
GinaMarie married Raymond G. Parr, 1968; Joseph E. Parker, 1975; Norman J. Jilot, 1978; Ronald L. Salmans, 1992.
Her hobbies and interests were reading, writing, quilting, crafts, spending time with family, and enjoying her cats.
GinaMarie is survived by her mother, Lorraine Iris Hill, Pocatello, ID; long-time life partner, Ronald Lloyd Salmans, Pocatello, ID; sons, Stacy Raymond Parr, (wife, Karen, daughters, Emily and Katie, and a son, Joshua), Boise, ID; Spencer Dion Parr, (wife, Carla, son, Gavin, and daughters, Natalie and Julia), Renton, WA; brother, Gary (Gayle) Hill, Spokane, WA; brother, Richard (Sherry) Hill, Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Kathy (Ken) Gates, Pocatello, ID; sister, Kollene, (Bruce) Cranor, Chubbuck, ID; brother, Phillip Hill, West Valley City, UT; sister, Lorena (Bob) Bennett, Olympia, WA; 16 nieces and nephews; and 17 great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lowell Lee Hill; 2nd husband, Joseph E. Parker; daughter, Kimiko Marie Parker; 3rd husband, Norman J. Jilot; and her sister-in-law Carol Hill.
Funeral services for GinaMarie will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, January 16, 2015 at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W. Chubbuck Road. A viewing will be held 5-7 PM, Thursday evening and one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. The interment will follow the services at Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
