George Mcgary

Calvin "George" McGary, 63, passed away unexpectedly on May 6, 2016 surrounded by family. George was born February 15, 1953, to Calvin Lamar McGary and Effie Millie Likes McGary. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls. On August 16, 1980, he married Judy Misner in the outdoors that he loved. They had two sons, Tyler and Jordan. He was a natural father and treasured both sons. George retired in 2015 over 40 years of dedicated service at Lamb-Weston/ConAgra Foods in American Falls, Idaho. George is survived by his best friend and beloved wife 35 years, Judy of Pocatello, Idaho; sons, Tyler (Ashley) of Chubbuck, Idaho and Jordan of Pocatello, Idaho; granddaughter, Julie; sister, Cora Jean Pack of Astoria, Ore.; and sister, Pauline (Robert) Gallup of Rigby, Idaho and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by both parents and his younger brother, Keith. George lived a life of service and care. He will be fondly remembered by all the people who he touched with his kindness. A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2016 from 11 am to 12 noon at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4 th Ave, Pocatello, ID, with a graveside service to follow starting at 12 noon at Mountain View Cemetery, 1520 S. 5 th Ave. Pocatello, ID 83204.
