George Edward "Eddie" Bowler, 68, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2016 at a local medical center. He was born and raised in Pocatello where he achieved many successes in life. He became a skilled professional cement finisher and produced excellent workmanship results that can still be seen throughout the community. He went on to receive an Associates degree of Applied Science in Instrumentation from Idaho State University, School of Applied Technology. He continued to further his education and training by obtaining a Water Waste Management certification from ISU and a Journeyman electricians license from the State of Idaho. He enjoyed working in auto mechanics, fishing, hunting, camping, jeep climbing in the mountains, and being with his children and friends. He was generous and willing to share whatever he could with those who needed a helping hand. He is survived by his three sons, Marc Bowler, Danny Bowler, Eric Bowler; four grandchildren, Britney, Amber, George, Matthew; and his aunt, Bonnie Bolton. He was preceded in death by his father, Harman Bowler; mother, Mabel Taylor; and brother, Danny Lowe. Services will be on Friday, January 22, 2016 at 1 pm at Colonial Funeral Home 2005 S. 4th Ave. Pocatello, Idaho 83201, 208-233-1500, with a viewing for one hour prior to the services at Colonial.
