Gary Ownby

Gary William Ownby, 85, of Chubbuck, passed away, January 31, 2022 at Portneuf Medical Center.

 Gary Ownby was born on April 17, 1936 in Stockton, California.  

Gary had a love and natural ability of working on electronics.  He could fix anything. When he was just 16 years old, he went to work for the phone company repairing telephones and fixing machinery. He also served in the military fixing radar and radio systems.

He started and operated his own business, Progress Sales for many years.

He loved anything electronic, computers, CB radios, HAM radios and classical music.

Gary had a very deep love for God.  He was a member and served as a deacon at The Living Church of God for 60 years.

Gary was preceded in death by the love of his life, JoAnn and his sister Mary.

He is survived by his four daughters Tammy, Debbie, Sandy (Chris), Carol, and son Frank. 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
