Gail Ann Freckleton

Gail Ann (Cunningham) Freckleton, 85, passed away after a brief illness surrounded by her loving family on December 3, 2023, at Portneuf Medical Center.

Gail was born in Westwood, California, on October 20, 1938, to Thomas and Lois (Jensen) Cunningham. Gail was the oldest of 4 children and attended numerous schools in southeast Idaho and graduated from Pocatello High School.

On March 24, 1962, she married the love of her life, Neal W. Freckleton. They happily combined their two families and added a 5th child a year later. They enjoyed 53 years together before Neal passed away in 2015.

Gail worked as a receptionist and bookkeeper for many years and retired from Norman Supply/Familian Northwest. In her spare time, she loved sports including softball, horseshoes, billiards, and bowling. She was most passionate about bowling and continued to league bowl until her passing.

Gail is survived by her children, Joni (Rod) Bullock, Rex (Kim) Lish, Cheri (Greg) Rosa, and Ross (Amanda) Freckleton; 18 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren with one on the way, 4 great-great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Judy McMasters, Sally (Dana) Spahr, and brother, Tom (Terri) Cunningham.

Gail was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and 3 great-grandchildren, Braedon Rosa, Ashley Smith, and Alexis Freckleton, son and daughter-in-law, Scot and Debra Freckleton, and brother-in-law, Frank McMasters.

The family will receive friends and family at a viewing on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at 12 noon at Colonial Chapel, 2005 S. 4th Avenue, Pocatello, prior to the graveside services at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, 2864 S. 5th Avenue, Pocatello, Idaho.
