Fred Dean Gamble

Fred Gamble was born in Tooele, Utah on January 13, 1942, to Leeland and Dora Gamble.  He was the oldest of 5 children. 

Fred graduated in 1959 from Burley High School.  He also served his country in the US Navy for nearly 30 years, retiring while stationed in Hong Kong.

He married Joyce Elaine Hall of Caldwell, Idaho in 1963, and together they raised four children:  Art (Cindy) Pendragon, Nick Lisle, Kodi (Ranjan) Dey, and Teleena (Tony) Leischner.  Fred and Joyce later divorced.

Fred is preceded in death by his son Nick Lisle, parents, siblings Bonnie Laib, Jerry Gamble, and Anita Burton.

He is survived by three of his children, brother Monty Gamble, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial graveside will take place on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Rd. 72, Sarasota FL, 34241. Military rites will be provided by the United States Navy.
