Frank Pierce

Frank W Pierce, 78, was born November 24, 1937 and passed away November 29, 2015 after a long battle with cancer.

Frank was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Christopher Lambert Pierce and Fanita Idell Rodgers. Soon after his birth the family moved to Mina, Arkansas. His family later moved to Texas where Frank attended Cherry Hills School.

Frank moved to Pocatello, ID in 1968. He worked for Lamb Weston, Parr Electric then later went in to business for himself. In 1978 Frank went to work for the Union Pacific Railroad. After working for 23 years he retired from the Railroad.

Frank married Donna Barrus June 29, 1973 and they were later sealed in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.

Frank enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, painting, reading and wood working.

Frank is survived by: his wife Donna Pierce; his 3 children; 4 step children; 2 adopted children and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a son Frankie Wayne Pierce.

Funeral services for will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at the Bringhurst LDS Chapel at 140 Bringhurst Street. A viewing will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 4, 2015 at Wilks Funeral Home 211 W. Chubbuck Road and one hour prior to services on Saturday at the church. Interment will follow services in Restlawn Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be sent to the family online at wilksfuneralhome.com.
