Frank Johnson

ARBON, IDAHO - Frank L Johnson of Arbon, Idaho passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2013 after an extended illness. He was born in Denver, Colorado on April 28, 1922 to Frank G Johnson and Florence M Johnson. He Came to Arbon in 1935 where he joined his step -dad, Maurice Poppie in farming. He joined the Army in 1941 and was honorably discharged as a Sgt in December of 1945. He was a cook in the Army Air Corp and especially enjoyed his time in the Tinian Islands. He met and married his soul mate in 1944 and they celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary on January 6, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Loretta B Johnson; sons, Blake and Frank; daughters, Dixie and Patricia; 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Frank wished to be cremated, and there will be a remembrance at a later date. We wish to thank everyone for all their help and kindness.
