Francisco Dimas Martinez, 20, passed away February 2, 2018. He was born and raised in Pocatello and Fort Hall, Idaho. He attended school in American Falls and Sho Ban High School. He never married but has one son from a previous relationship with Chelsea Goodrider of Fort Hall. Francisco worked as a landscaper, as an inventory specialist and worked odd jobs here and there. He loved boxing and belonged to the Fort Hall Boxing Club. He believed in our creator and traditional Native American ways and the Sweat Lodge. Cisco enjoyed many hobbies including fishing, hiking, playing basketball, watching football, writing and listening to music, and being with his family. Cisco had many friends and was loved by everyone. He is survived by his mother, Victoria Lee Montes (Jesse Rodriguez), Pocatello, ID; father, Victoriano Isidro Martinez, Portales, New Mexico; grandmother, Janalee Meeks, Pocatello, ID; 3 sisters, Cora Martinez, Evangelina Martinez, both of Pocatello, ID and Mia Charlie, Logan, Utah; a son, Cielo Isidro Martinez, Pocatello, ID; and a nephew, Diego Martinez. Cisco is preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Alfred Meeks; great-grandmothers, Effie Ottogary and Ignacia Montes; great-great-grandfather, Fred Meeks; and great-great-grandmother, Florence Shay. Tee Pee visitation will be at the Janalee Meeks residence in Fort Hall on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at 11 am through Friday, February 9, 2018 at 2 pm where he will then be taken to Bannock Creek Cemetery for burial. Services will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 4 pm at the Meeks residence.
