Frances Marie Walters

Frances Marie Walters, 96, passed away peacefully at her home Friday, March 6, 2015. Frances was born March 31, 1918 to John Lorenzo Tillotson and Rosetta Bell Brown Tillotson in Downey, Idaho. Frances spent most of her life in Pocatello having lived at the same address for over sixty seven years. On May 15, 1931, Frances married Donald Ray Walters in Preston, Idaho. They were sealed for time and all eternity on May 15, 1961 in the Idaho Falls Temple. Frances worked for Pocatello School District 25 as the head cook at Roosevelt School and is fondly remembered by many students. Frances is survived by her daughter, Donna Rae (Don) Harris, of Newport, Oregon and her sister, Rose Perry of Pocatello. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ray Walters, a daughter, Marie Rose Walters, a son, Francis Leslie Walters, and five brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at the LDS Alameda 3 rd Ward Chapel, 954 E. Walnut St. (Corner of Jefferson and Walnut) Pocatello, ID 83201 with Bishop Michael Watson officiating. Family will meet with friends for one hour prior to services at the church.
