Her parents were living at the Tout Ranch in Sunnyside, near Lava Hot Springs, when she was born, and in the spring of 1930, they moved to a farm in the Fish Creek area, also in the Lava Hot Springs area. On New Years Eve 1946 she met John Henry Call. After Johns service in World War II they began dating and were married on August 1, 1949. For many years she was blessed to be able to stay at home and raise her family. Later she entered the work force. She worked at Lamb Weston, the Cowboy Truck Stop Caf, Deseret Industries, and then finished her career at Idaho State University in the custodial department.
