Floyd Crump

Pocatello- Floyd Clair Crump, 77, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 5, 2011, at Pocatello Care and Rehab. He was born April 9, 1934 in Oxford, Idaho to Howard and Louise Crump. He was raised in the McCammon area and was a graduate of Marsh Valley High School. A highlight of his high school career was playing basketball with his brother Wilbur. Floyd was an excellent athlete. After High School he continued to work on the family ranch with his father and eventually took it over and it became his own. Floyd had a true love for his horses and cows and loved all the outdoor activities in that area. He was preceded in death by his parents Howard Easthope Crump and Louise May Kiesling Crump and his brother Howard Wilbur Crump. A special thanks to the staff at Rosetta Assisted Living, Pocatello Care and Rehab, and Creekside Hospice for their efforts in his behalf. Funeral services for Floyd will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4th Avenue, with a visitation from 1:00 - 1:45 P.M. at the funeral home prior to the services.
