Florence May Crane, 92, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, October 30, 2010. She was born on August 24, 1918 in Rockland, Idaho. She attended elementary school in Rockland and then moved to American Falls where she attended and graduated high school. She married Lafoy Kerol Crane on August 27, 1938 and they made their home in American Falls and raised their four children.
Florence attended nursing school in American Falls, ID and achieved her LPN license. She worked as a nurse at Harms Memorial Hospital until she moved to Pocatello, Idaho. Florence enjoyed many hobbies including sewing, crocheting and the many pets that she had through the years. Her greatest joy was having her family around her.
Florence is survived by; a brother Bud Kelly, American Falls; her four children, Annette Anderson, Idaho Falls, R. Gary (Barbara) Crane, Nampa, Joyce (Glen) Horsch of Pocatello, Lee (Brenda) Crane of Pocatello; grandchildren Diana “Lynnie” Pahise, Valerie Ann Jones, Brian Vincent Anderson, Amber Marie Anderson, Gary Devon Crane, Brenda Erickson, Carol Fronce, Tracy Gwen Silva, Trina Marie Klassen, Curtis LaRoy Crane, Teri Lee Crane; great-grandchildren, Candace Leah Hope, Cassie Pahise, Phoebe Ann Pahise, TeArra Pahise, Austin Anderson, Misty Anderson, Colton Anderson, Dusty Anderson, Rick Jones, Ashley Jones, Amanda Crane, Nicole Erickson, Curtis Erickson, Cristy Erickson, Stephen Fronce, T.J. Davis, Holden Horsch, Blake Horsch, Cearston Silva, Jacob Silva, Kirk Crane, Katrina Crane, McKenzie Crane, Miranda Crane, Matthew Klassen and Brock Klassen; and two great-great-grandchildren, Isaac Hope and Trinity Erickson.
Florence was preceded in death by her husband, granddaughter, Donna Lee Hope and grandson, Troy J. Horsch.
Mom/Grandma, we love you and will miss you until the day we will meet again in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
The family wishes to thank Access Hospice and their staff for their care and compassionate service the last few weeks of her life.
