Flora moved with her family at the age of 6 months to McCammon, Idaho and not long after that moved to Virginia, Idaho where her parents purchased a dry farm. Her youth was spent on the farm. Upon her graduation, she enrolled and attended Grimms Business College in Pocatello; where she met Glenn Latimore. Glenn enlisted in the Army and was stationed at Fort Ord, California. On July 11, 1953, she married Glenn in Pacific Grove, California. They later solemnized their wedding in the Idaho Falls Temple in 1964. Flora began to further her education at Idaho State University as a music major. She had a deep love for the arts, especially music. Flora worked a portion of her young adult years at the Downey State Bank in Downey, ID. After marrying Glenn, she was first and foremost a wife, mother and homemaker. She did work for a short time at Grand Central Store when it first opened in Pocatello; which has now become Fred Meyer. She left the working world for a time and then reentered as an employee for Montgomery Ward in the catalogue department until the main store closed and she continued employment with their catalogue store until it closed. Flora was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in various callings and positions in Young Womens, Primary, Relief Society and the ward in general; especially those dealing with music. She loved the outdoors and nature. She loved flower gardening and took great pride in beautifying her yard. She was an exceptional seamstress and was always creating something for herself and her children. Flora and Glenn were loving, supportive and ever present at any of their childrens activities. This practice continued on with their grandchildren.
