Ferne Elaine Phillips

On Dec. 13, 2012 Fern Elaine (Grimm) Phillips returned home to her Heavenly Father. Elaine was born to Walter S. Grimm and Hannah Eliza. Grimm on Jan. 13, 1927 in Bancroft Idaho, she was the oldest of the three girls. Elaine married Keith Edwards and had three sons Monty, Danny, and Jerry. She later divorced after 19 years of marriage. She remarried Merlon B Phillips. Elaine loved life, she had a passion for hunting and fishing. She also did a lot of silver work with jewelry and rocks that she found and polished herself. She had many hobbies and talents. She loved her boys and was a great mother. Elaine loved her family and always said how blessed she was to be able to enjoy her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had worked as a night Janitor for school district 25 also had worked for Sun Spice potato. She was active in the LDS 28th Ward Church. She is survived by her husband Merlon Phillips, her son Danny (Terry) Edwards Boise Id. her son Jerry Edwards Chubbuck Id. Granddaughter Tonia Edwards (Kevin) Kempner, Texas, Granddaughter Jessica Edwards American Falls ,Id. Randy Phillips son Chubbuck, Id. Many grandchildren and many great grandchildren and two almost great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by: her Father and Mother Walter and Hannah Grimm, Her sisters Aleda Shamburg, Doris Whalen, Blanch Phelps, her brother Plez Grimm, Her son Monty Edwards. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at the LDS Chubbuck 4th Ward Chapel on the corner of Stuart and James. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral services at the church. Burial will follow services at Bancroft Cemetery.
