Eva Lucille Curzon, 98, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 20, 2008, at the Alpine Valley Care Center in Pleasant Grove, Utah. She was born January 4, 1910, in McCammon, Idaho, a daughter of Edwin A. and Sarah Lish. She attended school in Onyx, Idaho. She was the second of four children, a brother, Ronald Lish, a sister, Lucene (Teen) and a sister, Rose. In 1926 she met Howard Curzon and they were married August 10 of that year. On October 20, of that year their marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. They lived in the Inkom and Pocatello area for most of their married life. There were eight children born to this marriage; Madeline, Everett, Erma, David and twin brother who died at birth, Ruby, Sylvia and Leland. Howard died June 29, 1958, leaving Eva with two teen age children, Sylvia and Leland. They both served LDS missions after his death. She worked for many years at the Troy Laundry and retired May of 1972. After retiring she spent much of the time traveling to visit family members. From 1997 until her death, Eva lived in a rest home in Utah. She is survived by her children, Everett (Mary) Curzon, Pocatello, ID, David (Jeri) Curzon, Medford, OR, Sylvia (Harold) Hess, Bountiful, UT, and Leland (Calline) Curzon, Bountiful, UT; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Curzon, parents, Edwin and Sarah Lish, and daughters, Madeline Whitaker, Erma Herziner, and Ruby Lefler. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 24, 2008 at the Gibson Jack Ward, 8200 W. Portneuf Road, with Bishop Robert Fackrell officiating. The viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday evening, Nov. 23, at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. Fourth Ave, Pocatello and from 1 to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church on Monday. Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
