Eurah Mae "Boots" Corben, 90, passed away peacefully at a local care facility on November 10, 2016. Eurah was born on September 21, 1926, in Valdosta, GA, to Dewey Booth and Myrtie Shipley. Eurah was the oldest of 9 brothers and sisters. She married Mallory Durden of Norris Town, GA. Together they had two daughters, Mallene and Marcia. During World War II, Eurah was employed at Robins Air Force Base wiring the noses of airplanes. She then pursued a nursing career at Robins Air Force Base. Eurah then moved to Idaho to be with her daughters and grandchildren. She was a very active member in the Baptist Church. She is survived by two brothers, Floyd Copeland and Paul Copeland of GA; daughter, Marcia Hughes (Tom); 5 grandchildren, Rebecca Lynn Heinrich, John Vernon Heinrich, Victoria Lynn Heinrich, Kristiana Lynn Bruderer, and Richard Barron Benson (Kymber); 17 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren. Eurah was preceded in death by her parents; 7 siblings; her husband, Malary; one daughter, Mallene; 1 great and 1 great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4 th Ave. Pocatello, ID, with a viewing for one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery, 1520 S. 5 th Ave. Pocatello, ID 83204.
