Eula Lish

Eula Lish, 85, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, passed into Heavenly Fathers arms the morning of Friday, December 19, 2014. She was at her home, surrounded her three sons, following a long illness. Eula was born September 3, 1929 in Amba, Kentucky to Walter Hall and Lula Hatfield Hall. The family moved to Pocatello, Idaho when she was 14 years old. She graduated from Pocatello High School. She married Merl V. Lish in Pocatello on November 18, 1948 they were married over 52 years. They had four children together, Virginia, Archie, Walter, and Leo. She enjoyed fishing, quilting, jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles and painting. Eula worked as a breakfast cook for the Holiday Inn for about 30 years. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Merl V. Lish; daughter, Virginia Ann Lish Barton; 7 brothers, Walter Hall Jr., James Hall, Stallard Hall, Carl Hall, Frank Hall, Lafe Hall, and John Hall; one sister, Virgie Hall Garner; and granddaughter, Angela Lish. She is survived by her sister, Florabelle Kirsteatter; three sons, Archie A. Lish, Walter E. (Rose) Lish, and Leo E. (Donna) Lish; 7 grandchildren, Christopher M. (Joyce) Barton, Amy C. (Greg) Larson, Marcy M. (Jeremy) Lewis, Sarah K. (Jesus) Perez, Michelle Lish, Amber Wood, and Michael A. (Lisa) Lish; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to a memorial gathering at her home on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at 3:00 PM at 436 East Whitman, Pocatello, ID. 83201 The family would like to thank the people from Encompass Home Health and Hospice for all their help and also give thanks to Joanna Gill, and Leila Chavis for their help, love and consideration.
