Ernest Lee Newsom

Ernest Lee Newsom, 67 passed away Feb.13, 2012. Ernest was born in Weatherford, Texas to Davis William Newsom and Ethel Lula Newsom. He is survived by sisters Lois (Jerry) Hopkins, of San Diego, California; Doris (Leon) Reasoner ,RioVista, Texas; Kay (Wes)Young, Holiday Lakes, Texas; Daughter Kimberly Ames Shaffer, Pocatello, Idaho. Grandsons, Scott Sanders, Ogden, Utah; Brandon Ames, Ogden, Utah; Cody Ames, Pocatello, Idaho. He has 5 great grand children. Ernest also has 4 nephews and 1 niece. He was proceeded in death by his loving wife Connie of 37 years; three sons Bruce, Bryan and Dale.

He served in the National Guard for 5 plus years,truck driver for most of his life.He met his long life love while driving a truck. Enjoyed camping,fishing,horses,family..his family was his world.
