Erick M. Auck

Erick M. Auck, 38, passed away on July 29, 2022. He was born on July 10, 1984. Erick’s residence was in Fort Hall on E. Ross Fork Creek Road. Erick attended Tyhee Elementary School, Hawthorne Jr. High School, and Highland High Scholl. He received his GED in Boise, Idaho and attained a certificate for Para-legal while in Boise.

While in Boise, Erick, worked as a driver for a construction company delivering windows and doors that were custom made to construction sites. He worked as a tela marketer for a few months and as a laborer.

Ericks partner was Sondee Small Chippewa. He was interested in reading, his artwork, tats, and watching sports, basketball, football and ACAA college football. He was a die-hard Cowboys fan.

The Auck family would like to thank family, and friends and relatives for food donations, flowers, and prayers.

Erick is survived by his mother, Nadine Yupe Auck of Fort Hall; brother, Aaron (Michaelynn Christy) Auck, Sr. of Pocatello; brother, Edrick Auck, Jr. of Pocatello; sister, Carmen Cutler of Pocatello; uncle, Frederick Auck of Blackfoot, paternal aunts, Louann Auck and Alene Menta both of Pocatello; maternal aunts, Armina Martin and Nelda Dale both of Pocatello; maternal uncles, Nathaniel Yupe of Pocatello and Merton Yupe of Fort Hall; nephews, Aaron Auck, Jr, Cayden Auck, and Trinity Auck all of Fort Hall; nieces, Tyler Auck and Tommie Auck both of Fort Hall; nephew, Josh Auck of Boise; niece, Sequoia Pahvitse Auck of Fort Hall; and nephew Marquis Pahvitse Auck of Fort Hall.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edrick Auck, Sr.; paternal grandfather, Louis Auck; paternal grandmother, Mary Phelps Auck; maternal grandfather, Roy R. Yupe; maternal grandmother, Carrie McGill Yupe; paternal uncles, Franklin Nagitsy, Delwin Auck, and Alfred Nagitsy; brothers, Dedrick Auck and Martin D. Auck; paternal aunts, Rosie Auck of Pocatello, Laura Auck Beasley, Loucinda Auck; maternal aunt, Adeline Yupe Phelps; and maternal uncle, Winfred Yupe.

Erick will be taken to the Edrick Auck, Sr. residence, 79 East Ross Fork Road, on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at 10 am. He will remain there until 2 pm on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at which time he will be taken to the Sand Hill Cemetery for burial services.
