Emily Mae Fisher

Emily Fisher 41, a beloved daughter and cherished sister, aunt, mother, and friend passed away leaving a void in the world and hearts of many. She grew up in Pocatello, Idaho and then attended and graduated from the Arizona Culinary Institute in Scottsdale, Arizona. She honed her skills and passion for food, ultimately owning the highly acclaimed restaurant, Efresh – the Gathering Place! Known for her clever wit and generous spirit, Emily touched countless lives with her delicious creations and kind demeanor. Her creativity shone through in the sandwiches named in honor of her friends and family, showcasing her talent and love for those around her. Her memory will live on in the flavors she crafted and the hearts she warmed.

Emily’s love of music, especially the Foo Fighters with their themes of introspection, self-discovery, and personal struggles kept her grounded. She enjoyed movies from light-hearted comedy to spine-chilling horror. She was a master at trivia games and was well-known for outsmarting others with her quick wit and vast knowledge. Despite her culinary prowess and intellectual acumen, she is best remembered for her kindness and generosity. A remembrance to celebrate her life will be announced at a later time. Donations in Emily’s name can be made to the Pocatello Humane Society.
