Eliseo T. Guerrero, 61, of Pocatello, Idaho passed away with family and friends by his side on Thursday, January 11, 2018 in Pocatello, Idaho. He was born on September 1, 1956 in Mexico to the late Pablo and Olivia Guerrero. Eliseo was known to many as "Lee".
He took a trade taught by his father and turned that skill into a successful concrete business known as the Lee Guerrero Construction. Lee enjoyed having coffee with friends before going to work and was also recognized in the community for helping others. Lee leaves behind a legacy of hard work and caring that will be carried out through his sons.
Lee's passion for music led him to join his brothers' band, Grupo Gusto, as the lead bass guitarist. The band was popular and toured the surrounding states of Idaho, Utah, Oregon, California, Montana, and Texas for 26 years.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Julie Guerrero. His four sons, Leroy, Jack Pablo (JP), Casey, Guy and one daughter, Hanna, all from Pocatello: six grandchildren, Brittany Nicole, Haley, Casyn, Olivia, Julian, Diego and one great grandson, Xavier.
He is also survived by four brothers, Pablo, Joe, Rueben from Pocatello and Oscar from San Angelo, Texas; four sisters, Mary Arnold-Denning from Pocatello; Fidelia Guerrero, Hermelinda Robles, Delila Caballero from San Angelo, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Pablo and Olivia Guerrero; a sister, Martha Hernandez and his favorite niece, Esther Hernandez.
al services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, January 15, 2018 at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 West Chubbuck Road with a viewing one hour prior to the service. There will also be a viewing held from 6:00-8:00pm on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Wilks Funeral Home.
