Elaine Mcmurria

Elaine McMurria, 71, passed away on Tuesday December 22nd, 2020 from natural causes.

Elaine was born to Jack & Arlene Eckman on March 23rd, 1949 in St. Anthony, Idaho. She is the oldest of 2 children. Elaine and her sister spent many of their young childhood years in St. Anthony prior to moving and settling in Pocatello Idaho. There she began her family at the age of 20, and a year later married Kent McMurria.

As a young mother and wife, she raised her children and worked as a dispatcher for the local cab co. along with her then husband Kent.
She enjoyed making crafts, fishing, and crocheting. She made many handmade gifts for her family, children, and great grandchildren. She loved to be doted on and adored. She appreciated making people laugh and smile. She was extremely interested in the medical field and all it had to offer. While she was never a part of it in life, she chose to be a part of it after and has graciously donated her earthly body to research.

Elaine is survived by:
Her children Rick McMurria (OR), Dave Eckman (ID), and Tess Gunn (ID) as well as 15 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and her sister Julie Guerrero whom she loved with all that she had to give.

Elaine was preceded in Death by her ex-husband Kent MCMurria, her parents, and great Granddaughter Isabelle riley Anderson.

No services are planned at this time for Elaine.
