Elaine Marie Gibson

Elaine Marie Gibson joined her heavenly family on September 8, 2016.

Elaine was the first of four children born to Lamar and Louise Perkins on July 8, 1926 in Pocatello, Idaho. She was raised in Pocatello, and attended Pocatello High School where she would meet her lifelong companion Ralph W. Gibson. Elaine married Ralph shortly after his return from World War II. Their first child, Larry, was born in 1946 followed by Judy in 1949 and Carl in 1952.

In 1953, the Gibson family moved to San Jose, California. It was here that their last two sons were born, Doyle in 1957 and Keith in 1963.

Elaine was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents Lamar and Louise Perkins, her brother William, her husband Ralph, son Larry and grandchildren William and Theresa.

Elaine is survived by her sister Evelyn, brother Edwin, children Judy, Carl, Doyle, and Keith; also by her twelve grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W. Chubbuck Road. Her interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
