Surrounded by her family, Elaine K. Fowler passed peacefully in her home on February 7, 2018 from an extended illness. She was born on November 18, 1944 to her proud parents, Peter J. and Mildred L. Tuma. Elaine was raised in the family business, Tuma Interiors. She was blessed with tremendous design sense and made a lifelong career as an interior designer, decorating homes and businesses throughout the region. She attended St. Josephs Catholic School, Alameda Junior High and graduated from Pocatello High School in 1962. While attending Idaho State University, she met Roger Lee Fowler. Together they had two children, Gretchen Kinghorn (Cory) and F. Peter Fowler. She was a proud aunt to Matthew Price and his family; Rosie, Sean and Christopher. Elaine was an amazing grandmother who adored her grandchildren, Elizabeth and Zachary. They have many fond memories of outings with their GG. Elaine had many wonderful friends who accompanied her on countless fun filled adventures, and supported her tremendously throughout her life. Elaine was a dedicated mother to her children and she treasured her animal friends. She will be remembered for her incredible generosity, beautiful yard and her ability to give the perfect gift. Her family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Encompass Hospice, Dr. Drew McRoberts, Mia, Sue, Eva, Connie, Dianne, Pam, Anza, Tracey, Leann, and all her other supportive friends who span across the country. Services will be held on Saturday, February 24 at 2:00 pm at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4 th Ave. Pocatello, ID. A Celebration of Life will follow at her home, 142 S. 15 th from 3:30-5:30 pm.
