Ed Wahl passed away peacefully on March 21, 2024, at Portneuf Medical Center surrounded by family. Edward Fenwick Wahl was born April 12, 1938, in Payette, Idaho to Edward Franklin and Sydney Carmen (Fenwick) Wahl, the oldest of five children.
When Ed was 17, he joined the U.S. Air Force and later the Idaho Army National Guard, he also worked at the Union Pacific Railroad in Maintenance of Way.
On July 20, 1959, he married the love of his life Judy Weir, he was 21 she was 16, they were together until her death on February 1, 2021. He missed her and is now reunited with his dancing partner. They were blessed with three children who will miss them both greatly.
Eddy is survived by Harry Wahl (brother), Martha Call (sister), Stacy (Don) Burns (daughter), Steve (Michelle) Wahl (son), Robyn (Brian) Walters (daughter), 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Roger and Dennis, and wife, Judy.
A graveside service, with military honors, will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024, at 1 pm at Mountain View Cemetery, 1520 S. 5th Ave. Pocatello, Idaho 83204. 55 East.
Cremation is under direction of Wilks Colonial Chapel.
