Edward Pierce

December 29, 1962 — August 21, 2021

Eddie, Edward Carl Pierce, 58, was born on December 29, 1962 in Blackfoot, Idaho to Ed and Mable Pierce. He crossed over to his next journey on Saturday, August 21, 2021.

Eddie grew up in Fort Hall and lived here all his life. Eddie attended schools in Fort Hall and Blackfoot. Anyone of his many friends knows he had a very big heart and would help when he could, he also be very stubborn and ornery at times.
During his life he liked working on old cars, stock car racing and demo derby’s, which sometimes happened in his dad’s wrecking yard. He loved his Old Ford pick-up that he always said “I will get that going someday.” He loved to go fishing and camping and drinking beer.

Eddie has two sons with Janalee Johnnie. Grant Pierce and Edward Jordan Pierce. Eddie also has four grandchildren; Alexander Pierce, Heydan Pierce, Lleona Pierce, and Daniel Pierce whom he loved dearly and was the light of his world. Eddie has a favorite niece Erin Ames and many lifelong friends.

As he aged, Eddie enjoyed long car rides, watching the buffalo in the bottoms and watching sunsets with his constant companion, Rhonda Rodriguez. Eddie was an animal lover and always tried to feed the stray Rez dogs that wandered up and sometimes stayed.

Eddie is preceded in death by his dad and mom, Ed Pierce and Mable Pierce and is survived by his five siblings, Joey Pierce, Webb Pierce, Alice Pierce, Ruby LeClair-Bernal, Richard Brown, two sons and four grandchildren.

Eddie lived very simply and wants his send off the same way. Eddie requested to be cremated and have a small memorial and dinner for his good-byes. There will be a sunrise prayer on Saturday, the 28th and a Memorial Service and pot luck dinner at the Pierce Family Home on B and 2nd Street in Fort Hall town site starting at 12 PM.
