Edna Jolley

Edna Jolley, 86, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2008, at a local care facility from a long term illness. She was born to George and Silvia Sorensen Seelos in Neeley, Idaho on August 31, 1922 with her two sisters, numbering six, seven and eight children and joining three brother and two other sisters. The family moved to Pocatello when the triplets were about four years old. They lived on North Lincoln St. until they married. Edna attended Pocatello High School and was active in music, playing the violin and the saxophone in both the orchestra and the marching band. She continued with her musical talent throughout her life by playing with the Pocatello Civic Symphony Orchestra. Edna married Rex J. Richardson in April 1940. Together they raised three children, Linda, Anita, and Stephen. Rex passed away in November 1964. In 1969, Edna married Kenneth Jolley. He passed away April 1986. Edna worked many years as a beautician out of her home on Bryan St. Each and every patron became her personal friend. Edna started painting at the age of 73 and found she had a gift she never knew she possessed. Her main love was her family. She loved being with her children, grandchildren and sisters. The
