Edith Virginia Eversole, 85, passed away Monday, February 6, 2017 at her home. Edith was born June 22, 1931 in Deer River, Minnesota daughter of Edgar LeRoy and Mary Elizabeth Rasley. Edith was raised and educated in Deer River, Minnesota and graduated from Deer River high school. Edith married Zeb Slaughter, they had two children, Larry and Janette, they were later divorced. She later married Lee Eversole in 1961 and they were married for 28 years. Edith work for 30 years at Basic American Foods in Blackfoot, Idaho. She retired from there in 1996. Edith loved fishing, camping and bowling. She also loved to travel around the country with her family. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren, Natalie and Logan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Eversole; her parents; 7 brothers and 1 sister. She is survived by her children, Janette Slaughter, Pocatello, ID, Larry (Debe) Slaughter, Pocatello, ID; 1 sister, Margaret Brundage, Las Vegas, NV; 2 grandchildren, Natalie (Justin) Morgan, Nashville, TN, Logan Slaughter, Portland, OR; and one great-grandson, Kenshin Morgan, Nashville, TN. As per her request, no services will be held. Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4 th Ave. Pocatello, ID, is caring for Ediths family.
