Edith Elaine Andrews

Edith “Elaine” Andrews, 87, passed away on February 20, 2024.


She was born in Spokane, Washington on June 15, 1936. Her family moved all over during her early life, including northern Idaho, Utah, Nevada, and Washington, never spending more than 1 ½ years in any place.


She was married to Vernon Andrews on April 25, 1953, by Bishop Oatis Hall. Soon after, Ron was born and the family moved to Inkom, Idaho and lived there until Vernon retired. Then they moved to Arizona, then to Weiser, Idaho before coming back to Pocatello. Elaine and Vernon were married for 67 years.


Elaine loved being outdoors in nature, enjoying activities like fishing, hunting, camping, and baseball. She also loved bowling, artwork and Native American Crafts.


She is survived by her children, Debbie Peck of Idaho, “Grizz” Steven Andrews of Idaho, Theresa Moore of Idaho, Lisa Nalder of Montana, and Laura Andrews of Montana, as well as 28 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren, with two more on the way.


She is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Andrews; son, Ronald Andrews; daughter, Julie Cunningham; brother, Darold Henry Seat; sister, Eleanor Maxine Seat; and parents, Jasper Taylor Seat and Wilma Edith Barritt.
