Echo Mock

Echo Lurene Mock, 77, passed away peacefully June 17, 2019 following a brief illness.

Echo was born June 22, 1941 in American Falls, Idaho to Vern and Margaret L. (Simms) Allen. She was raised and educated in the American Falls area.

Echo married Charles Mock in 1956. They were married 55 years when he passed away in 2011. She happily followed his to his various employment assignments over the years that took them to Swan Falls, Hagerman, Bliss, Brownlee, Oxbow, and Hells Canyon while he worked for Idaho Power.

Echo loved cake baking and decorating; her biggest thrill was to make carrot cakes and cinnamon rolls for all. She enjoyed playing cards, Pinochle and the Senior Center, and camping and entertaining in her younger years.

Echo is survived by her children, Vicki (Jason) Carney, Chubbuck, ID; Ron Mock, American Falls, ID; Chuck Mock, Jr., Brigham City, UT; Bonnie Mock, California; sisters, Mary Ellen Quenn; Tammy Cleveland; Toni Allen; 14 grandchildren, and 27 great-children.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Mock; her parents, Vern and Margaret Allen; a granddaughter, Ann Michelle; and a brother, Vernon Allen.

A celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 21, 2019 at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W. Chubbuck Road. Her interment will follow at Falls View Cemetery privately at a later date.
