Earl Ernest Hughes

Earl Ernest Hughes, 66, passed away at a local hospital on Tuesday, January 5, 2021. Earl was born to Turner and Alice (Firkins) Hughes on January 19, 1954 in Wickenburg, Arizona. He graduated from Aloha Highschool in Aloha, Oregon. Earl has moved throughout his life, but has lived here in Pocatello, Idaho for the past 15 years. He is married to Denise Marie (Cannady) Hughes for the last 15 + years. He has two children from a prior marriage and has 2 stepchildren from his marriage to Denise. Earl served as a handy man for many years and helped this beautiful earth with his recycling. His is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints From back in 1963. Both he and his wife were being served by their Ministering Teachers. He loved to watch and attend car shows and has attended the Chrome in the Dome for many years, the older models were his favorite. He loved the outdoors including, hunting, fishing, and camping. Earl is survived by his wife, Denise Hughes of Pocatello, ID; one child and two stepchildren, a grandson as well as several siblings; nieces, nephews, and cousins and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his loving parents; a daughter, a wife, Brenda, and 4 brothers. There will be no services at this time due to COVID-19.
