Edna LuAnn Hall, 58, passed away on Friday, September 21, 2018 after cardiac and respiratory failure with her loving husband by her side. LuAnn was born in January 1960 to Kerma and Joseph Griffiths in Sacramento, California. She married Bryan Jensen Hall in May 1983, they were later sealed in the Idaho Falls temple.
As a young girl, LuAnn lived in California until she was 8. She then moved frequently with her family until they settled into Pocatello, Idaho during her early teenage years. LuAnn graduated from Pocatello High School and pursued experience based career education. She worked briefly as a seamstress for Levi and Wrangler and found joy using her talents to make things for her family.
LuAnn was a cherished homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to sing while working around the house and constantly brought light and optimism into the lives of others. LuAnn had a big heart and cared very deeply for everyone in her life, her tenderness and loving nature will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She enjoyed reading as well as creating things through the arts of sewing and cooking. She enjoyed traveling to the Oregon coast with her parents and family. She loved nature and the beauty of spring flowers and fall trees. She also appreciated animals and cared for all living things with loving concern.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and enjoyed studying the scriptures. She also delighted in genealogy and family history as well as spending time with family.
LuAnn is survived by her husband Bryan, her children Keith (& Mandee) Hall, Eric (& Megan) Hall, Elisabeth (& Joshua) Wood. She has 6 grandchildren. Her siblings Peggy (& Pete) Lawver, Tom (& Carol) Griffith, Nancy (& Kevin) Cornia. She is preceded in death by her parents Kerma and Joseph Griffiths, and her in-laws Laura and Kenneth Hall.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 1, 2018 at the Chubbuck 8th Ward LDS Chapel located at 450 James Street in Chubbuck, Idaho. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow services in the Mountain View Cemetery.
