Dwenda “Gail” Wilson-Hutter was born November 5, 1963, in Greenville, Mississippi. She was the seventh child of the late James Williams, Jr. and Georgia Mae Parker Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Bernadine Williams Smith, and Bessie (L.C.) Swilley and brothers Clyde Williams and Cedric Williams, Sr.
Gail recognized her commitment to God at an early age. She was baptized in Greenville, MS at Saint Peter’s Missionary Baptist Church. She continued her devotion to the Lord by attending Pocatello Christian Outreach Center.
Gail completed her formal education with the Greenville Public School System in 1981. She went on to further her education at Jackson State University. Majoring in Computer Science there at JSU, she was able to obtain her bachelor’s degree. And with her commitment to excellence, Gail went a step further and obtained her MBA. Gail enjoyed a successful career as a computer engineer working for various Defense contractors, US Government, Boeing Aviation and Universal Studios. Gail had success at numerous jobs. She was last employed with Hill Air Force Base in Ogden, Utah.
Gail was happily married to the love of her life, Klaas Hutter, who she met in Idaho Falls in 1994. They got married in 1996 and enjoyed traveling and spending time with family.
Gail was a very loving person. Fun spirited and easy going. She never met a stranger. She was passionate about many things, but diversity and inclusion issues were a true mission of hers. She continued the dream of equality on inclusion for all races, genders, etc. And she championed these rights of equality inside and outside of the workplace.
The curtains of life silently closed for Gail on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at the home of her sister in Cordova, TN surrounded by family.
Gail’s ever-present smile will forever be missed by everyone that she touched. Her memories will be a blessing to be cherished by her husband Klaas Hutter, two sisters, Thelma Black of Montgomery, AL and Taurus Lacy of Cordova, TN. Eight brothers, Louis Williams, Paul (Lourdes) Williams, Johnnie Ray Williams all of California. Robert Parker and Leander (Carolyn) both of Atlanta, GA. Ivory (Vee) Parker, Melvin (Cheryl) Parker, both of Montgomery, AL. Harold Williams of Little Rock, AR. Darold Williams of Denver, CO and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends and coworkers.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Wilks Funeral Home 211 W. Chubbuck Road in Chubbuck, Idaho. Interment will follow services in the Mountain View Cemetery.
