DuWayne Goff, 77, passed away March 31, 2015 at his home in Pocatello, Idaho from a heart attack. He was born on October 19, 1937 in Murray, Utah to Idellas and Kathleen Piersen Goff. He grew up in Sandy, Utah. He graduated from Jordan High School. He was married to Cheryl Memmott, his wife of 52 years on the 13 th of October 1962. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl of Pocatello, his son, DeVoy (Cheryl) Goff of Chubbuck, his daughter, Cherlynn (Robert) Fackrell of Pocatello, and 11 grandchildren. His grandson, Elder Logan Fackrell, is serving an LDS mission in Honduras. He was preceded in death by his parents, Idellas and Kathleen, his brother, Floyd Goff, his sister, Janet Andrews, and his mother and father-in-law, LeVoy and Ella Memmott. DuWayne was a machinist at Morton Thiokol where he worked on the space shuttle until his retirement. His children and grandchildren were the highlight of his life. He liked to tease them and make them laugh. He was always there to serve others and was loved by many in his community. He always enjoyed visiting with his friends. He loved working with the boy scouts. His hobbies included woodworking, working in his yard, and cooking for his family. His favorite place was in his shop making things for others, and you can see many of his creations scattered throughout his home and yard. A viewing will be held on Monday, April 6, 2015 from 6 to 8 pm at Colonial Funeral Home 2005 S. 4 th Ave., Pocatello, ID. 208-233-1500. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 11 am with a viewing from 10 to 10:45 am at the LDS Church at 5425 Bannock Hwy. Pocatello, ID. 83204. Interment, with Military Honors, will be at Restlawn Memorial Gardens 2864 S. 5 th Ave. Pocatello, ID 83204. Condolences can be made to the family online at www.colonial-funeralhome.com
