Douglas "Scott" Frasure, 37, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2014 in American Falls, ID. Scott was born in Waukegan, Illinois on April 17, 1977 the son of Doug and Cheryl (Linford) Frasure. He ended up in California do to a transfer his dad received by the Navy. Scott attended schools in Idaho when his dad was called out to sea. He attended head start, Green Acres and Alameda Jr. High. He attended Chipman Middle School in California. He enjoyed playing the trumpet in the band. Scott graduated in 1995 in Idaho. After graduating, he moved to Illinois where his brother Shawn was living. Scott met Megan Antrim at that time and they were married July 17, 2004. They were later divorced. He worked putting in the tile for Jimmy Johns restaurant in Champaign, Illinois. He also traveled to several other cities as the business grew and expanded, putting on the tile in those new business locations. Scott came back to Idaho to be around his family and met Sandra Norgaard. They were married February 23, 2013. She brought with her a son, Stephen, and a daughter, Micky. They spent many hours just sharing, camping, and fishing in his boat. He spent all his spare time fishing. Working as a contractor in construction and being especially good at tiling, he was called on many times to help others and enjoyed sharing his life with others, helping family and friends with their repairs. He also worked for Golds Gym and for Alpo and Scott Burkdall. His dog Donta will miss him dearly, as will his family. Scott is survived by his wife Sandra; their children, Stephen and Micky; dad, Doug Frasure and mother, Cheryl Linford; three brothers, Shawn Frasure of Holland, Michigan, Chris Frasure of Nampa, Idaho, and Ben Frasure of Pocatello, Idaho; grandmother, Lucille Linford and his Aunt Annette Linford both of Pocatello, Idaho; mother-in-law, Kim Hartley of Wymore, Nebraska. He was preceded in death by Clarence Frasure, Dawna Mae Denton, Todd Frasure, Harold, Kevin and Bryan Linford. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 11 AM at the LDS Alameda 3 rd Ward Building, 954 E. Walnut St. ( Jefferson & Walnut ) Pocatello , Idaho 83201. A viewing will be Friday, November 7, 2014 from 6-8 PM at Colonial Funeral Home 2005 S. 4 th Ave. Pocatello, ID 208-233-1500 and also for one hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Pocatello, ID. Condolences can be made to the family online at www.colonial-funeralhome.com
