Douglas Edward Burrows

Douglas Edward Burrows, 54, of Chubbuck, Idaho, passed away on June 27th, 2024. He was born on May 8, 1970, in Chubbuck, Idaho where he was a lifelong resident and a cherished member of the community.

Doug was known for his boundless energy and enthusiasm, especially during his youth. He excelled in sports and was an active member of the scouts. His accomplishments in these areas were a source of great pride throughout his life. In 1988, he married his high school sweetheart, Jackie, and together they nurtured a loving family, including their two children, Dustin and Dacie.

Professionally, Doug was a master craftsman, specializing in custom cabinetry. For over two decades, he dedicated his skills to Chubbuck Custom Cabinets, leaving a legacy of craftsmanship evident in many local homes and hospitals. His work was not just a job but a passion, much like his love for the outdoors. An avid hunter and fisherman, Doug was familiar to all as the expert who "had shot all the deer up Thunder Mountain" and cherished the tranquility of nature.

Doug is survived by his wife of 36 years, Jackie Burrows; his son, Dustin Burrows; his daughter, Dacie Burrows Randall, his sister Kim MCcarroll, his brothers Jeff and David Burrows; and five grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents, Faye and Darrell Burrows, and his brothers, Mike and Craig Burrows.

 A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family is being assisted by Wilks funeral home in Chubbuck. Doug's life and legacy will be remembered by all who knew him as a man of integrity, passion, and craftsmanship.
