Doris Rauch

January 1, 1943 — May 28, 2024

Doris Jane Rauch passed away on May 28, 2024, she was 81 years old.

Doris was born in Chicago Heights, IL. on New Years Day in 1943 to Joseph and Marriam Bercham. She grew up with her younger brother Dougles and many cousins. She graduated from Bloomington High School and attended some college. She had fond memories of her childhood.

Later Doris married John Wareing (deceased) and moved to Louisiana, there she gave birth to her eldest son Robert Wareing and then Mary Ansel. She enjoyed being the mother of two angelic albeit little devils. She would always tell fun stories about those times and new experiences, there is one about cookies which Doris loved telling.

Doris and her young family moved to Tucson, AZ. which is where she meet her second husband Donald Decker (deceased) with whom she had two more children Loreen Decker and Dennis Decker. However, Doris found herself a single mom with two teenagers, a five-year-old and a newborn. It was not easy going. There were tough times, but she endured and worked retail jobs, her favorite time was working in Secondhand Stores.

In fact, working in a Salvation Army is how she met her third and last husband, Karoly -Charles-Rauch, whom she was married to for 32 years. They had many adventures together, and then came to settle down in Pocatello, Idaho.

In her retirement, Doris enjoyed reading, sewing, and crocheting. She always read, she loved Sci Fi, fantasy, and romance novels, she had the talent of reading and holding conversations at the same time! But her greatest joy was family. Doris loved and was proud of her children Robert (Sharon), Mary (Howard), Loreen, and Dennis. She cherished her ten grandchildren, Michael (Brianne), Tara (Michael), Shannon, Samantha-Belle (Kyle), Veronica, Matthew, Andrew, Jacob, Grace, Zachary and treasured meeting and getting to know her eight great-grandchildren, Caitlyn, Ava, Donte, Calvin, Elijah, Finnegan, Weylen, and Gretchen.

Doris was a loving and caring person right up until the end. She was loved, and in loving memory, will be remembered by all who knew her.
